Desporto CAN 2010
The 2010 is the biggest sports event and major happening in continental football, to be held in January 2010 in 4 cities: Cabinda, Luanda, Benguela and Lubango.
With this event Angola and Africa will show the world its rich culture and ability to organize events of such importance, which in its turn will contribute to the development of the Angolan tourism industry. Preparing for this event, 4 new stadiums were built and named after Welwichia mirabilis, a carnivorous plant found in Namib Desert, which inspired the Angolan architects.
